「主われを愛す」は子どもの教会でもよく歌われるやさしく感謝に満ちた讃美歌です。作詞者アンナ・ウォーナー(Anna Bartlett Warner, 1827-1915)はニューヨークの裕福な弁護士の家庭に生まれましたが、1837年の大不況で大半の財を失われたため、アンナは妹のスーザン(Susan Bogert)とともに作家生活に入りました。　讃美歌詞も作りましたがこの「主われを愛す　"Jesus Loves Me"　」はよく知られています。（参考文献：The Cyber Hymnal）
